How Fast Can I Get My Products?

  • The time from when you pay, to the time when you (or your customer) receives the goods, is typically 4-8 days.  

Current delivery times for different express companies:

  • DHL, UPS, FedEx, and TNT: 2-5 days to deliver.
  • EMS: 4-6 days to deliver.
  • Air Mail: 3-10 days to deliver.

Receiving Your Delivery

Couriers require a signature from the recipient for delivery, and this is a fast and secure way to have your products delivered.

It is essential you provide a full, accurate shipping address, and a valid delivery phone number.
If there is VAT or any Import Duty to pay on the goods due to your country's import rules, the courier will present you with a bill at the time of delivery. In general you will need to pay any such bill to the courier before you can receive the goods. Any such charges are your responsibility and unfortunately we cannot offer advice or estimates about import fees or other taxes in your country.

If you believe your package is missing items, includes incorrect items, or has been damaged or tampered with in any way, it is essential that you communicate this clearly to the courier company's delivery driver at the time of delivery. If you accept delivery and sign for the goods it is much more difficult to pursue a claim later.

How Are Goods Shipped To Me From China?

  • We'll ship your goods to you by air express courier.
  • The choice of courier varies according to country, but most countries currently have a choice of some or all of: DHL, FedEx, and UPS.
  • EMS and TNT are also available for certain countries.
  • Small orders can also be shipped very cheaply by Air Mail. The option will appear automatically in the checkout if your goods weight is not too high.

Air express courier:
After dispatch from our warehouse in Shenzhen, China, the shipment goes to the airport in Hong Kong or in Guangzhou, and goes to your nearest major logistics hub. From there the goods are delivered by the courier's local services.

Import / Customs:
Customs clearance paperwork and procedures are handled by the courier. They may need to contact you in certain cases to confirm details of a shipment. In any cases where additional paperwork is required for customs clearance, we will assist you fully. Any local sales tax or import duty will be calculated when your goods enter your country: in most cases there is nothing to pay, but if there is, you simply receive a small surcharge bill when you receive the products.

Shipping Costs

All our shipping fees are calculated automatically according to either the actual kg weight of the goods or the goods' dimensions, plus the delivery location.
The Air Waybill (formal shipping document) that accompanies your goods may show a kg weight that is less than the shipping band that you paid for. This happens when the item is light but bulky, so the shipping band is calculated by dimensions, not actual weight.

The prices depend on the different rates of the shipping companies and are subject to change without notice. We're constantly working on lowering the shipping prices for you though!
All orders must be fully paid in advance, including shipping. Shipping charges are not refundable except in cases of wrong delivery.

If a delivery is confirmed lost, stolen, or damaged before receipt, we will work with the courier directly to obtain information, and arrange a refund or re-delivery at no further expense to you.

Worldwide Shipping and Legality

  • We offer shipping worldwide to almost all locations on the planet.
  • Please note that you are responsible for finding out in advance about the legality of importing your ordered items in your country - and about the legalities of importing goods into your country per se. We are not responsible for confiscated items by your local authorities or any associated costs incurred.
  • Customs clearance is undertaken by the courier in the delivery destination country (and in certain cases, in the en-route country). You must be available for contact by them, in the event of any query or clearance confirmation. You are responsible for knowing the regulations in your delivery country before placing your order.
  • PLEASE  MAKE SURE YOU ADDRESS IS CONFIRMED BEFORE SENDING PAYMENTS.

 

Read The Small Print!

  • Before you read the small print: Importing is a breeze in most countries! You may have to pay your own country's VAT (i.e. Sales Tax) and sometimes variable Import Duty when the items arrive, but in the vast majority of cases packets / cartons delivered from China by courier arrive safely with no problems at all!
  • Read the item description carefully! We will ship you whatever you order. Although we do assist you by manually checking all orders to screen possible region / compatibility inconsistencies, we do not accept returns of healthy products which were simply mis-ordered by you. If you are in an NTSC video color region, don't order PAL products for your market. Check if your country's networks will match the GSM frequency bands of Cell Phones you are ordering. Check if your locality has free DVB-T broadcasts before buying DVB-T digital TV receivers. If the driver's seat is on the left, don't order left side passenger sun visor Car DVD Monitors! Duh!
  • Additionally, there are some (cool) types of gadgets including for example (but not limited to) radio signal jammers, high powered lasers, and could-be-considered-medical products like e-cigarettes, that are not legal (booo!) to import into certain countries. As the buyer / importer it is entirely your responsibility to find out in advance of placing your order whether your ordered items are subject to import restrictions. We will ship you whatever you order, so we do not accept liability in the case of failed delivery of goods, where they have failed to clear your country's local Customs - either in cases where the goods are turned back, or in cases where the goods are seized. In addition the gadgets galore is not responsible for informing you of possible import restriction issues before or after purchase.
  • We will not be responsible for any damage that may be caused on your computer, console, or other hardware / software during / related to installation of any of our products. We not be liable for any damage or personal loss due to incorrect installation of our products.
  • Delivery time: If there is a possible delay due to the warehouse being out of stock, we'll contact you by email to discuss sending out your order in separate shipments, changing products, or other options. Larger orders that exceed our stock may take up to 1 week longer to send out, as we have to order from the factory.

 

 

 

The Gadgets Galore Terms and Conditions - Warranty and Returns

The Gadgets Galore guarantees all products bought from us with a 12-month warranty against defects in quality.

All goods dispatched from The Gadgets Galore are checked for quality, including checks of the appearance of the goods, the function of the hardware and software, the packaging, and inclusion of applicable accessories and power adapters.

we aim to communicate openly, promptly, and carefully with all customers in relation to issues with received goods.

If you are a customer with goods which appear to have a problem, please talk to us before initiating complaints with Paypal or your credit card provider. Usually there is a way for us to resolve your issue quickly and you your satisfaction!


Warranty By Default Covers Repair

The Gadgets Galores warranty means we will repair your faulty item for free and send it back to you for free. Other compensation is not normally available. If an item is impossible to repair to a good working condition we will credit you instead.


When does the 12 month warranty start from?

The warranty period begins when the vendor receives the goods from the gadgets galore. The period is exactly 365 days from that time. For example, a product on the 365th day is covered, but a product on the 366th is no longer covered.


Who pays for what?

  • Cost of shipping a probably faulty item back to Hong Kong or China: paid by the customer, cannot be reimbursed.
  • Cost of import duties on the China side and restocking fees: waived, paid by the gadgets galore in full.
  • Cost of shipping repaired item back to customer from China: paid bythe gadgets galore in full.
  • If a product cannot be repaired: your original shipping fee will be credited in addition to the original product value so you can place a new order for a brand new replacement or a different product.
  • Any new import duty or sales tax for the consignee for the returned repaired products sent from China is their responsibility as per the usual policies.

 

If a mistake was made, do The gadgets galore pay the customer's return shipping costs?

If items received are substantially not as described, We will be able to offer full compensation depending on the details of the case, at our discretion. Our aim is for you to feel completely satisfied with your purchase.

In very rare cases where incorrect items were sent or the item description was substantially incorrect at the time you ordered it:

  1. We might request you to accept the 'wrong' item at a very reduced price, since that can solve the question with the least hassle.
  2. If you don't want the item then we will give you a partial refund up front, of the original shipping cost. You would use that money to ship the product back to us, and once it's received and confirmed the rest of the original money (product cost) will be credited to you.

To summarize: the shipping is refunded up front, the product price is credited later.


In what situations are returns NOT offered to customers?

The customer is solely responsible for choosing the right product, including for example the "correct" desired memory capacity; color; screen size; digital tv format; GSM band; NTSC/PAL color region - as all of these are unique SKUs on thegadgetsgalore.com - We will send you exactly what you order, so please read descriptions before purchasing.

Returns of your unwanted / unsold products will not be accepted.

If the consignee of a delivery refuses or fails to accept delivery for any reason, including refusal to comply with customs clearance/costs or simply having an incorrect address, The gadgets galore accepts no liability and the customer will not be eligible for compensation.


Standard RMA Process

The standard returns process for faulty goods is as follows:

  1. Customer opens a support ticket in contact us detailing the order number, product name / item code, and nature of the problem.
     
  2. The gadgets galore replies to propose solutions, ask clarification questions.
     
  3. Customer replies with further details if available.
     
  4. The gadgets galore replies authorising the return, giving an RMA (return to manufacturer authorization), and providing a returns slip for enclosing with the returned goods. The returns slip has the returns address to our warehouse in China or Hong Kong.
     
  5. Customer returns the goods by normal post using the instructions on the returns slip.
     
  6. The Gadgets galore receives the returned goods and technicians check the products.
     
  7. The Gadgets galore offers a report to the customer. If the products are faulty the usual procedure is to initiate a repair immediately and confirm with the customer the address that the repaired goods will be sent back to.
     
  8. The repaired goods are re-checked by our technicians. Most basic repairs are completed within one week.
     
  9. If all is fixed the repaired goods are packaged securely sent out back to the customer.
     
  10. The repaired goods are received by the consignee like a normal order.
